Network Packet Brokers

Taps provide raw traffic to network packet brokers which then filter, deduplicate, decrypt and otherwise streamline it to provide dynamic network intelligence for monitoring, performance and security tools. Known for their easy-to-use web interface, Keysight's packet brokers do all the heavy lifting when it comes to managing filter rules, making it easy to manage change while freeing up valuable time to focus on other things. Data is then sent to security, performance and analytics tools; these tools can perform at an optimal level because they receive the right data in the right format and at a manageable throughput. In the case of inline deployments, approved data is then sent back into your network. Vicom offers single pane of glass management and configuration options, which allows you to scale in both physical and virtual environments.

Network Taps and Aggregators

The foundation of dynamic network intelligence, network taps provide 100 percent visibility and easy access to network data. When a monitoring tool is needed, simply connect the device to the tap instead of taking down the link and interrupting traffic. Taps pass all network traffic — including Layer 1 and 2 errors — without introducing bottlenecks or points of failure. Regardless of interface or location in the network, we provide a tap solution, including copper taps, and multimode and single mode fiber taps at speeds up to 400Gbps with media conversion models available.

Bypass Switches

When a network monitoring device such as an IPS is deployed inline in a network, it is vital to ensure that traffic continues to flow in all circumstances, even if the IPS loses power, so that mission-critical business applications remain available.
